Getting a little worried about the behaviour of your little girl? If you are positive that she is not pregnant, she may be going through a false pregnancy. This can be a little scary, since the poor little dog will be acting strange. She may be more aggressive towards the other pets in the house. She might start nesting, making forts in your laundry and blankets, and hiding toys in there. She might carry a toy around like it’s a puppy. During a false pregnancy your dog can have physical signs as well, such as swollen nipples, and she may even lactate. It is important to try and keep her from licking herself as this will only encourage milk production.
Symptoms of false pregnancy should go away by themselves after about three weeks ( if you don’t get a litter of puppies!) You do not usually have to worry about treating her, although do see your vet if you get concerned. The best way to prevent false pregnancies is to get your dog spayed.

Someone made the absurd comment that dogs have more rights than children. I just blinked. I could argue and fight, but it’s so wrong that I won’t bother. It made me think of how the world would be if people had to treat their kids the way I am forced to treat my dogs.
Children must at all times be on a leash and accompanied by their owner. All children must be trained to relieve themselves outdoors. No child shall be educated in the public domain, yet training is mandatory. You must buy a child license for your animal and have it on you at all times. Any child found without a license will be detained and if necessary destroyed. Any child who scares, hurts, or annoys a person or other child will be detained and if ruled necessary by the court, destroyed, at the owners expense. A child inspector may enter your home at any time to ensure you are complying to the child laws. No more than two children are allowed in each dwelling. Health care for your child is entirely at the owner’s expense. It is often more cost effective to put the child out of it’s misery.
No offense to you people with kids, I love kids. I am just tired of getting the “either/or” card. My loved ones matter too. And they are not equal.
